We are back at the pin event. Pick up our parting gift - the two pins on the left. We also got wrist bands for the dessert reception tonight and the dessert gift pin on the right.

End of Day
First day of pin trading is winding down. Half an hour left. But people are staying because there is thunder storm outside. So pin trading continues.

Pin Trading Games
In another line for a pin trading game. I'm trying to get a few of the chaser pins that are being released at the event. But the lines are long.

At Pin Event Early Registration
Long lines to register and pick up merchandise. The area looks like a warehouse! This is the worst looking place for early registration that I've ever seen.
Leaving MK
Leaving MK to head to Coronado Beach to pick up our registration for the pin event.
MK today was not busy at all.
New Day
It's a gorgeous morning at the Boardwalk. We will be heading to MK for the morning before going to Coronado Beach for the early registration for the pin event.

Yum
Having lunch at Flame Tree. The smoked chicken is my absolute favorite. And with a view like this, lunch can't get any better.
Shopping
Did a second ride on EE. Then did safari and Bugs Life. Thin crowd. All rides have short lines.
We are now shopping at Outfitters and Island Merchantile.
Donald's Great Adventure - My Trip "Home"
Hello there fans! This is your intrepid Donald Duck reporting from the Most Magical Place on Earth. It is wet around here, which is just the way I like it!
My flight here went very well. Here I was at the airport, waiting for our flight. Our plane is the 3rd one from the right, I think.
Once on the plane, I always read carefully the safety instruction. Let's see, where are the airplane doors? How many are there?
Before long, it was time to land. So put your seat in the upright position, and tray table in the upright, locked position. Also stow away your Donald Duck in a safe, secure location.
And we're here! I'm happy, very happy!
Ah, we have reached our "home" for the next several days, the Boardwalk Inn. I hope they have lots of ducks here.
Quack, quack!

Lunch
Having lunch at the Boardwalk Cafe. Love their tomato mozarella sandwich. We are blowing off our diet right away with this smores cupcake.
On Plane
We are on the plane. It is going to be packed. Have pity on us. We are stuck in the kid-screaming-at-top-of-lung section. Can't wait to get up in the air and use my noise-cancelling earphones.
Busy Airport
Took half hour to get thru airport security. Airport is very busy. Donald was not happy stuck in the bag that long.
WDW, Here We Come!
We are all packed and ready to go. Donald is quite relieved that he won't be flying all the way to Orlando upside down in my water bottle pouch. In fact, he's quite cosy napping in my backpack right now.
We had quite a time selecting the pins we will bring with us to the pin event. Since we limit ourselves to only 2 pin albums to bring, we had to make guesses on what would be good traders, which isn't easy. In any case, we have two, very full, pin albums. Hopefully, they will trade well.
In any case, I will try to blog "live" while on the trip. This should be an exciting one.

Donald's Great Adventure - Getting Ready To Go To WDW
Hello there my legion of fans! This is your idol Donald Duck once again getting ready to fly off to Walt Disney World! We will be leaving tomorrow morning, and this time, I will be accompanying ZapperZ as he attends this year's Pin Celebration event at Epcot. I'm looking forward to this one because the theme this year is "The Florida Project", because it is the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World! Of course, I was there on Opening Day, and yes, I looked very young back then. But then again, I haven't aged much, can't you tell?
With the huge number of Disney fans around, I am expecting to be mobbed by many of my loyal followers, not to mention, so many things I want to do. So keep an eye out on here for all my adventures.
But first, I have to make sure ZapperZ has brought everything he needs. Let's see, pin trading books? Check. Lanyard? Check. Pin trading pouches? Check. Tripod? Check. Noise-cancelling headphones? Check. Well, I guess other than finishing packing the luggage, we have everything we need here.
Now, I wonder where ZapperZ is going to put me in for the airplane ride?
Oh no! How humiliating!

Decision on "The Lone Ranger" Expected This Week
It looks like this week will be a crucial one for the fate of "The Lone Ranger". Disney will decide if they will go ahead and finance the movie.
We'll see who will tough out this round of the starring contest.

Mouse House execs met with producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski late Thursday to discuss the pared-down production budget, and will render a decision next week, Variety's Justin Kroll exclusively reports.

Johnny Depp Says He Won't Make "Lone Ranger" Without Gore Verbinski
Now that's what I call loyalty.
As much as I think that Gore Verbinski striked lightning with the first Pirates movie and could not recapture the magic in the subsequent two movies, Johnny Depp appears to be squarely in his corner. He has stated that he won't do the suspended "Lone Ranger" with Verbinski directing the movie.

Depp told Disney that he will not do Lone Ranger without his Pirates of the Caribbean collaborator Gore Verbinski at the helm, Deadline reports. The problem for Disney is that Verbinski had given them a budget number in the ballpark of $275 million to make the movie he sees in his head … and that figure (rightfully) caused the studio to pump the brakes. So, now we get to see how Rich Ross, the new person in charge of Disney movie studio, handles this.
