Major Reorganization of Disney Parks and Resorts

Following the retirement of Al Weiss, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs has reorganized the responsibilities of top Disney executives responsible for theme parks, resorts, cruise, merchandise, and even DVC. The most significant of which is the appointment of Walt Disney World President Meg Crofton to overseas Disney theme parks in North American and in France.

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs appointed Walt Disney World President Meg Crofton to the new post of president of operations in the U.S. and France. Crofton will maintain her current responsibilities as president of Disney's Orlando resort — a position she has held since 2006 — but she will also assume oversight of Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., and Disneyland Paris.

Not sure how this will directly affect the current operations and decisions. I would guess that not much will change.
