Symphony in the Stars Fireworks at DHS

The Great Movie Ride with some of the Star Wars themed fireworks above it. An all day rain left mist and clouds that made the fireworks interesting. Star Wars fans were practically fainting with the music and narration from the movies, and some fairly intense fireworks.

Star Wars fireworks

Another shot of the fireworks at DHS with the Great Movie Ride in silhouette. Pretty much high wow factor.

Poke at Trader Sam's

Very good. The only dish at this table that wouldn't cool off.

Maybe Captain Nemo's fave

The Nautilus, a potent Rum drink at Trader Sam's at the Polynesian. The drink went down well on a cool night. You keep a new, boxed copy of the boat.

Not a Figment of our imagination

Journey to Imagination went down and no fix was in the near future. Photo shows people walking single file to exit, back the way we came.

Earffel Tower Coming Down

More demolition at Disney's Hollywood Studios as they proceed with their renovations.

The Earffel tower is the latest slated to come down. This will go along with the Light Motor Action! and the Honey I Shrunk The Kids playset. All of them will be gone to make way for the destruction and reconstruction of DHS for the new Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land.

With the Earffel Tower being gone, DHS will temporarily be without a park  "icon". The Hat has been gone for a year, and now the water tower. DHS seriously needs an identity soon.

Utterly Stupid Group Claims Its Boycott of Star Wars - The Force Awakens Has Costs Disney Millions

Oh yeah, Disney is worried to death about it right now, I'm sure!

An utterly DUMB group calling itself Return of Kings is boycotting the new Star Wars movie, and have incredulously estimated that it has costs Disney $4.2 million in tickets sale. The reason why they are calling for a boycott of the movie?

The group called for a boycott of the hit sci-fi film because they had identified the film as “SJW propaganda”. SJW stands for “Social Justice Warrior” and it’s a term used in certain corners of the internet to describe people who stand up for and defend equal rights online.

The problem with ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, according to Return of Kings, is its “non-white and female agenda”, ie its lead characters - Rey and Finn, played by Daisy Ridley and John Boyega - are not white men.

Now people, let's examine this just a little bit, shall we? The movie industries have been dominated, D-O-M-I-N-A-T-E-D all these years by "white men"! In fact, just look at the movies released this year! How many of those were lead off by "white men"?

So now along comes a movie in which the leads are not "white men". So they complain?  This is like a neighborhood inundated by steak houses, and then suddenly a vegetarian restaurant pops up and people complain about it not serving meat?!

This is not social justice. This is social stupidity. My pet fish has more sense and sensibility than these clowns.

And by the way.....

Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ is in cinemas now and it looks set to topple ‘Avatar’ as the highest-grossing movie of all time. Looks like that boycott’s really working out for them.
