Japan Trip Post 2

We are a couple of days away from beginning out trip to Japan. Strangely enough, I don't feel all that stressed out, mainly because I'm already packed! 😁

We will be flying in to LAX first, spending the night there, and then catching a Singapore Air flight to Narita, Japan the next day. I've flown Singapore Air a few times, but the other half hasn't, and I thought he should get a flavor of the amazing service that a top-notch airline like this can give you.

I'm darn excited for this trip because, as I've mentioned earlier, we we lucky to coincide with the Donald Duck festivities at Tokyo Disneyland, especially having booked our stay in the Donald Duck room at the Ambassador Hotel.

OK, I'd better go look at my list again and see if I missed anything. Catch up with you later.

Japan Trip Update

Our pockets and bank accounts are a bit lighter now. We have paid for all the airfares, hotels, and tour expenses for our upcoming trip to Japan. We just have to buy park tickets to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea.

A real and pleasant coincidence that happened since my last post is that Tokyo Disneyland resort announced that Tokyo Disneyland will become Donald's Quacky Duck city from April 9 to June 30, right smack in the middle of our visit! And since we will be staying at the Ambassador Hotel in a Donald Duck room, we can't wait to see how it will be themed to the hilt!

About another 1 1/2 months to go!

Japan Trip Post 1

Konichiwa!

Today, our adventure to Japan and Tokyo Disneyland Resort begins.

After the wait for our 4-month booking window opens this morning, we managed to book a 5-night stay at Disney's Ambassador Hotel at Tokyo Disneyland resort. Not only that, we managed to get the Donald Duck room!

It is costing us a boatload of DVC points, but hey, it is going to be worth it.

The plan is for us to start our Japan adventure (more like adventure restricted to just Honshu island) by staying at the Tokyo Disneyland resort area for the first week, do the theme parks, and then continue on our guided 11-day tour, which we had already booked months ago. In total, we will be spending almost 3 weeks in Japan.

And gosh, yes, I'm so looking forward to this! Consider this as the first entry in the Japan travel blog. :)
