The resort falls into the “value” range (similar to the All Star and Pop Century resorts), but this marks the first time Disney will open a hotel that features mostly family suites .

Art of Animation resort opens today
The first phase of Disney's resort number 26, the Art of Animation, opened today, May 31 2012. The resort will ultimately add 2,000 rooms to WDW capacity. The first phase is named "Finding Nemo". There will be three additional phases coming in 2012, in fairly short order. Check out the full story and more pictures here. The interior shot looks very interesting.
