I mentioned a few times on here about the Windy City Pin Traders, a group of friends in the Chicagoland area who trade Disney pins (and other Disney items) once a month. We all meet at the Fuddruckers in Addison, IL, which seem to be a central-enough location for everyone to gather. And gather they do from the Chicago area, Wisconsin, Illinois, and some time, even from Michigan! The attendance each month can range from 20 all the way to close to 40 people, and we often take up a substantial portion of the restaurant.
Still, Judy and the rest of her staff at Fuddruckers have been extremely kind, and have gone out of their way to accommodate us. These are a bunch of terrific people who have been very generous towards our group. So we definitely should be thanking them. Instead, they made this wonderful sign in the restaurant around Thanksgiving time on things they are thankful for. Among the items listed are friends, shakes, cookies and ....... DISNEY PIN TRADERS!!! That's us! :)
I think I can speak for the rest of the WCPT members to say that we are thankful for having such a wonderful place to meet every month. So thanks, Fuddruckers in Addison, IL!
And oh, many transplanted Chicagoans who moved to Central Florida have started a new branch of WCPT called WCPT South. Just last month, they started their brand new monthly meet, also at Fuddruckers, at the Crossroad Shopping Mall, just outside of WDW at the end of Hotel Plaza Blvd. They meet on the same day as WCPT, and share the same webpage. Everyone is welcome there, even if you are not originally from the Chicago area.
