The Serious Side of "Up"

USA Today has an advanced "evaluation" of "Up", and the risk that Pixar is taking with this movie.

The montage of their marriage touches on themes rarely seen in bedtime storybooks: romance, financial hardship, a lost pregnancy, loneliness and the blink-of-an-eye passage from childhood to wrinkles.

it's been said more than a few times in the various advance review of this movie that "Up" has a lot more grown-up issues than other Pixar movies. Good for them! As expected, Pixar never settle for any formula, and continues to challenge themselves creatively. No one says that there can't be an adult-themed animation movie.

I am really, really looking forward to see this now.
