Decision on "The Lone Ranger" Expected This Week

It looks like this week will be a crucial one for the fate of "The Lone Ranger". Disney will decide if they will go ahead and finance the movie.

Mouse House execs met with producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski late Thursday to discuss the pared-down production budget, and will render a decision next week, Variety's Justin Kroll exclusively reports.

 We'll see who will tough out this round of the starring contest.
