After The Monorail Collision - No More Up Front Seating?

Rampant speculation are going around at various internet forums about possible consequences of this accident. One that has been brought up which is a real possibility is that Disney will no longer allow guests to sit in the front monorail car with the monorail pilot.

I can understand if they do this, even if on a temporary basis, but it would be sad if they do. Sitting up front is such a joy and fun thing to do for guests. If they have the system properly run, there's no reason why this isn't a safe thing to do. Maybe they can institute a rule that the pilot cannot engage in any "conversation" with the guests while the monorail is in motion, if they they don't want the pilot being distracted. But I sincerely hope that they do not completely stop this option.

Zz.
