Marty Sklar Honored at Disneyland

It was a fitting send-off. Marty Sklar, who retired from the Walt Disney Company this past July 17 (on Disneyland's birthday), has been honored with a window at Disneyland.

Sklar's window, added to the park on July 17 and coinciding with the 54th anniversary of the park's opening, sits above City Hall on Town Square, mere feet from where the long-time employee started his Disney career as editor of "The Disneyland News."

Happy retirement, Marty! Thanks for the joy and the memories.
