Report on Wild Africa Trek

I've mentioned of a report on the Wild Africa Trek before when it was previewed to the press. This is another one, but this contains the information on the cost of this tour, something that Disney is not advertising on its webpage.

Although you are able to see many of these animals from a distance on the regular motorized safaris that is included with the park admission ticket, Disney is selling this as an "exclusive" experience that carries an extra fee of $129 per person for those eight years and older.

All on my trip agreed that was a reasonable charge for the trek, however, I’m told that rate will be increasing to $189 from February 27 through April 16 then skyrocketing to $249 from April 17-30. Rates for May onward have yet to be determined.

Oy vey! For that price ($249), they'd better include a full-course dinner at Jiko, the way the Wanyama Safari does!
