Disney-Funded Referendum Headed for Ballot

Looks like the Disney-funded coalition to preserve the resort district in Anaheim has collected enough signature and is heading to the ballot.

On Wednesday, the city clerk approved signatures collected by a Disney-funded coalition for a ballot measure to overturn the council's 3-2 decision to allow homes in the Anaheim resort area. The office certified 14,200 signatures, more than the required 13,192, or 10 percent of registered voters, City Clerk Linda Nguyen said. Election officials found 6,397 invalid signatures.

In all of this, it is sad that the issue of affordable housing for ENOUGH people is lost. This developer is providing token affordable housing in return to its agenda of selling luxury condos within the resort area. The Anaheim City Council bought this scam hook, line, and sinker. Let's see if the Anaheim residents themselves and see through this.

Zz.
