WDW and Labor Unions Strike Deal

At least we got some good news on this front. The Labor Unions representing more than 21,000 workers at the Walt Disney World has struck a deal with the company. Remember that the rank and file narrowly defeated a contract that most of the unions representatives recommended last May. So even though there was an agreed extension during the negotiations, there was still a threat of a strike.

This recent agreement is definitely good news and removed the possibility of a strike, at least within the next 3 years or so. I certainly hope the cast members reap some of the benefits from the record profits at the theme parks.
