Universal said it is increasing the base price of a one-day, one-park pass to $82 — matching a price increase announced earlier this week by Walt Disney World.
Strangely enough, financial analysts seem to think that Disney's decision to raise ticket prices is a good sign.
That indicates that park revenues are holding up, despite building economic pressure and no discounting, Wible wrote in a morning report. Wible believes this suggests that Disney will report stronger-than-expected earnings for its fiscal third quarter next Tuesday.
We'll know soon enough.
