So many apartment buildings are going up that cement sales are expected to rise 11 percent over last year's record-setting total. Flights to Disney World are packed, as upper-middle-class Brazilians take advantage of their nation's strong currency to make trips abroad. The Brazilian real, one of the planet's fastest-rising currencies, last year gained 17 percent against the dollar and 7 percent against the euro.
Humm... I wonder if this means more Brazilian high school kids at WDW over the summer? :)
This is where the theme park business for Disney could weathered the economic problems in the US. With the Dollar weakening against most other major currencies, visitors from Europe, Asia, and now Brazil, will make up for any possible reduction in US visitors. I wouldn't be surprised if Disney suddenly decided to accept the Euro the way many stores in New York City have done.

God help the poor workers at the park! Time to nail down anything you don't want stolen!
