The fire erupted early in the ride, and lasted perhaps 15 minutes, Russell wrote. "I saw smoke out of the right side of the truck, then a huge flame went up between the driver and the first row of seats. That is where the woman got her face and hair singed."
It certainly sounds a lot more harrowing than we first heard. I wonder where exactly along the ride it happened. All the report said that they were not "in an animal area" at that time. I'm guessing that means that they were not at the African savanna area. That leaves a large part of the ride left.
