It is now official. Toshiba abandons the HD-DVD format that it has been pushing form.
This means that Sony's Blu-Ray that is backed by, among other studios, Disney, will emerge at the format of choice for high definition DVD.
Now, if they can only release the Profile 2 Blu-Ray players already!
