Dissing Disney?

Horrors! How un-American!!!

This writter appears to be getting a lot of nasty reaction to her article on not liking the Magic Kingdom. I know this isn't the first time this has happened. I remember a while back that another columnist got almost the same reaction.

I'm as big of a Disney nut as the next cashew, but even without reading what she wrote, I think the Disney fans (especially the fanatic ones, and you should know why that word "fanatic" exists to describe you) some time need to chill out. It is a FACT (and a sad fact, I will grant you that) that not everyone is going to like, be enamored, or fall in desperate love, with Disney or Disney theme parks. Disney will continue to have its detractors and those who think it is nothing more than a money-grabbing corporation (like who isn't?). So my advice is, just let it go! If these articles had misinformations, correct them. If the author got something wrong, correct him/her. But don't call her names or question her parenting skills. That's just plain juvenile and very un-Disney-like!

Correct the wrong information and move on. There's just way too many Disney-related stuff to enjoy to dwell on someone who doesn't like Disney.
