King of the Castles

This is a short article on King Ludwig II.

Er... King Ludwig II? {You double check the name of the blog.... Yes, you did reach "My Disney Mania" blog}. So what's the connection?

Ah, here it is. King Ludwig II built many castles during his reign. One of them, Neuschwanstein, looks awfully familiar. Folklore has it that this castle was the inspiration for Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom. I believe that Samantha Brown, in one of her many "Passport to Europe" show on the Travel Channel, also mentioned this when she was in this part of Germany and visiting this castle.

Maybe that's where Disney should have built a theme park... :)
