Pirates of the Caribbean TV Show?

Say it isn't so!

There are unconfirmed news reports (that's the fancy way of saying there are rumors) that Disney is developing a Pirates of the Caribbean TV show.

Disney is reportedly planning to make a TV spin-off of the swashbuckling franchise with Sparrow as its main character. A source tells British newspaper The Daily Star, "The idea is that we focus on a much younger Jack Sparrow and show fans how he became a famous pirate.

Yowzah! I don't know what to make of this. I am almost 100% certain Johnny Depp isn't on board for this one, and that is just a complete guess on my part.
