Universal Creative Exec Leaves for Disney

This could be a coup for Disney.

Disney has managed to lure and hire Scott Trowbridge, who was the vice president of Universal's Creative Studios, to Walt Disney Imagineering as as vice president for creative research and development.

Trowbridge's record at Universal included being senior show producer for the Spider-Man ride, which has been widely hailed as one of the greatest indoor rides in theme-park history.

At Disney Imagineering, he will report to WDI Chief Creative Executive Bruce Vaughn, overseeing creative research-and-development projects.

It didn't say so in the news report, but hey, maybe he could do a lot of things with the planned DCA rehab!

Zz.
