Guest blogger Patti checking in live from Disneyland's Grand California where early registration and merchandise pickup is starting this evening. There's about 60 people lined up outside the conference center waiting for the 5pm start. The atmosphere resembles a high school reunion. Many Disney fans are reconnecting with friends and easily chatting with each other while waiting in line.
I've seen about a dozen Cast Members in the Haunted Mansion uniform enter the conference center. We assume they are assisting with the registration process, which adds to the general theming of the event.
