Disney's birthplace at 2156 N. Tripp has been on the market for more than a year, said owner Radoje Popovic. In 2006, Popovic and his wife, Barbara, also unsuccessfully tried to sell the home on eBay.
The couple bought the home in 2002 for $190,000 and currently are listing it at $199,000.
I've always thought that the Disney family should have bought that house, and build another building near it to be the Disney Family museum, rather than the one currently about to open in San Francisco. There's a stronger tie historically with Walt here, or even in Marceline, MO, than in SF, I would think. But hey, I'm sure they have their reasons for building it where it is.
